BOSTON: Tonight's Concert In Florida Cancelled
August 22, 2008Classic rock legends BOSTON have issued the following statement:
"Due to inclement weather caused by tropical storm Fay, the BOSTON concert scheduled for Friday, August 22, 2008 [at St. Augustine Amphitheatre in St. Augustine, Florida] has been cancelled. There is currently no make-up date for this show. Those holding tickets to the cancelled show may receive a refund at the original point of purchase. For ticket holders that purchased tickets online or over the phone through Ticketmaster, your credit card will be automatically refunded. Those that purchased tickets at the St. Augustine Beach Pier or the St. Augustine Amphitheatre box office, please contact the St. Augustine Amphitheatre on Monday, August 25 for refund information at (904) 209-3750 or e-mail at [email protected] or [email protected]. Please bring the concert tickets with you to receive a refund."
BOSTON is bringing two new recruits on tour this year. Singer/songwriter/guitarist Michael Sweet, the veteran STRYPER frontman, is both singing and trading riffs with Gary Pihl and Tom Scholz on guitar. Unexpected phenomenon Tommy DeCarlo, the fan that posted his BOSTON covers on his MySpace page and ended up on stage, is also belting out the classics that skyrocketed the band to worldwide fame.
